PUBLIC INVITED TO ICE CREAM SOCIAL CELEBRATING PURCHASE OF PROPERTY AND PLANNING KICK-OFF FOR SKAGIT RECREATION AND EVENT CENTER

SKAGIT COUNTY – The public is invited to a free Ice Cream Social hosted by the Skagit County Parks and Recreation Advisory Board and Citizens for Recreation and Event Center celebrating Skagit County’s purchase of property near Skagit Valley College. The event is the kick-off for planning and development for the Skagit Recreation and Event Center.

The Skagit County Commissioners and local elected officials have been invited to attend.

The event will be held at 2801 East College Way at the site of the recently acquired property on August 4, 2005 at 6:30 p.m. Parking is available at the 911 Center at 2801 East College Way in Mount Vernon. Directional signs will be posted.
