VOLUNTEERS NEEDED TO HELP SEED OYSTER BEDS

SKAGIT COUNTY – Volunteers are needed for the Skagit Marine Resources Committee’s Native Oyster project in Fidalgo Bay, Monday afternoon, August 7, 2006. Volunteers will help wheel (carts and hand trucks) oyster seed out on the trestle on the Tommy Thompson Trail and dump them over the side during high tide.

On Tuesday morning, August 8, 2006, volunteers are needed to spread the seed at both the trestle and Weaverling Spit at 9:00 a.m.

The work party will form at the Fidalgo RV Park. Please park near the Tribal Building.
