SKAGIT COUNTY ISSUES DRAFT OF WATER QUALITY MONITORING PROGRAM PLAN
County also developing baseline inventory of salmon habitat conditions

SKAGIT COUNTY – The Skagit County Public Works Department has released a draft of the Skagit County Water Quality Monitoring Program Plan. This monitoring program is being designed to meet the requirements of Skagit County Resolution #R20030210, focusing on areas of ongoing agriculture. Public input and comment is sought on the methods and sample locations proposed in the plan. The document is available for viewing online at www.skagitcounty.net.

Skagit County is planning to develop and implement a baseline inventory of salmon habitat conditions to meet the requirements of Skagit County Resolution #R20030210. Groups that have previously or are currently conducting salmon habitat surveys in the area are requested to contact Skagit County to share information and resources.
