Samish Island Road closed to vehicles over 12,000 pounds August 11-19

SKAGIT COUNTY - Samish Island Road will be closed to vehicles over 12,000 pounds GVW ¼ mile east of the intersection of Bayview-Edison Road and Samish Island Road from August 11, 2008 until approximately August 19, 2008, for the replacement of a failing culvert. There is a temporary bypass in place for vehicles that are under the 12,000 pound weight limit.
