MOUNT VERNON – The Skagit County Marine Resources Committee regular monthly meeting is scheduled for Thursday, August 14, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Mount Vernon Senior Center at 1401 Cleveland Avenue. Agenda items include the Texaco Trustees Restoration Proposal, and a presentation on Estuaries and Salmon. Project updates will be presented on the March Point/Samish Island Beach Restoration Plan, Oyster Enhancement in Fidalgo and Padilla bays, Olympia Oyster Research in Fidalgo Bay, and creosote debris.
