Skagit County to Delay Removal of Bridge Debris until October

SKAGIT COUNTY - Due to the current low river level, and the large amount of fishermen on the Skagit River, Skagit County will delay the removal of large woody debris until the first two weeks of October. This work will be located adjacent to the State Route 9 Bridge near Sedro Woolley. Once the removal begins, please be aware that logs and debris may be present in the river between the State Route 9 Bridge and the mouth of the Skagit River.

Skagit County will issue an additional press release with more specific dates for when the work will proceed at a later date.
