MARINE RESOURCES COMMITTEE MEETING SLATED FOR SEPTEMBER 11
SKAGIT COUNTY - The Skagit County Marine Resources Committee monthly
meeting is scheduled for September 11, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
at the Anacortes Public Library, 1209 9th Street, Anacortes. Agenda
items include updates on 2003 projects, such as the Olympia Oyster
Project and the Spartina Removal Project. Discussion will take place
on potential projects for 2004. Featured speaker, Curtis Tanner with
the US Fish and Wildlife Service, will speak on the Puget Sound Nearshore
Ecological Restoration Plan. The public is invited. For additional
