COMMISSIONERS ENCOURAGE UNITED WAY PARTICIPATION WITH PROCLAMATION

SKAGIT COUNTY – The Skagit County Board of Commissioners signed a proclamation today proclaiming September, October, and November “United Way Campaign Months” in Skagit County. United Way of Skagit County Executive Director Paul Chaplik gave a short presentation to the Commissioners and thanked Skagit County employees for contributing more than $21,000 during the 2004 campaign.

“We really appreciate the efforts of United Way in Skagit County. Time and time again, they step up to help people in need,” said Commissioner Ken Dahstedt.
