Skagit County seeking Land Use Hearing Examiner

Skagit County has published a request for interest and proposals for a Land Use Hearing Examiner. Proposals will be accepted until October 1, 2021 and should be submitted to Jason D’Avignon at jasond@co.skagit.wa.us. Please include ‘Land Use Hearing Examiner’ in the subject line of the email.

The Land Use Hearing Examiner hears certain land use appeals, development proposals, and related matters within unincorporated areas of Skagit County. Hearings are scheduled on an as-needed basis, and an Examiner can expect to hear 20-25 cases in a typical year. All hearings are conducted during daytime hours. This is not a full-time position and will be administered via personal services contract.
