Dialogue to further explore subjects discussed at July Community Meeting
MOUNT VERNON -- This fall, Skagit County will propose a Planned Unit Development
code and associated development standards for implementation of the 2008 Bayview
Ridge Subarea Plan. In July, Skagit County held a community meeting at Bay
View School to review the design standards and proposed solutions to infrastructure
concerns.
To provide additional detail on the proposal and the subarea plan, and to
get additional community feedback on the issues important to Bayview Ridge,
the Planning & Development Services Department will host roundtable discussions
in the Port meeting room (15400 Airport Drive, Burlington) on the following
topics. Additional meetings on other topics may be scheduled later.
Growth Management Act and sprawl: Whats density at Bayview Ridge
look like?
Wednesday, September 18, at 6 p.m.
Roads and transportation: Bayview Ridge intersections and circulation
Wednesday, September 25, at 6 p.m.
Area residents, especially Bayview Ridge residents and property owners, are
encouraged to attend, sit at the round table, and engage in discussion about
the selected topic. Room capacity is 52.
