COUNTY COMMISSIONERS SIGN PROPOSITION FOR ADVISORY VOTE ON WATER FLUORIDATION ON NOVEMBER BALLOT

SKAGIT COUNTY – The Skagit County Board of Commissioners voted unanimously today to pass a resolution calling for an advisory vote on the issue of fluoridation of the Skagit County Public Utility District No. 1 water supply served by Judy Reservoir. The measure will be placed on the November ballot only in precincts served by Judy Reservoir.

The proposition reads:

Shall the Skagit County Public Utility District No. 1 Judy Reservoir water supply be fluoridated, in accordance with the standards established in WAC 246-290-460?
