DELAYS POSSIBLE ON SEPTEMBER 25 AT GUEMES FERRY DUE TO ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT REPLACEMENT

SKAGIT COUNTY – Routine maintenance to replace electrical equipment on the Guemes Ferry dock may cause short delays, Thursday, September 25, according to Steve Cox, ferry manager. “We will be shutting down the power after the morning rush, but expect only short delays,” said Cox.

A generator will be in place to provide power to the terminal building for lighting and heat for the crew and passenger areas.

“This is routine maintenance, but we want our customers to be aware that there could be short delays near the end of the day,” said Cox.
