SKAGIT COUNTY ESTABLISHES SMALL WORKS ROSTER FOR CONTRACTORS

SKAGIT COUNTY – The Skagit County Public Works Department has established a “small works roster” to award contracts for construction, building, renovation, remodeling, alteration, repair or improvement of real property. Procedures have been established for securing telephone, written, or electronic quotations from contractors to assure that a competitive process is established and to award contracts to the lowest responsible bidder as defined in RCW 42.19.1991 according to Controller Jean Alden.

The roster will be administered by the City of Lynnwood in conjunction with Skagit County and a significant list of neighboring municipalities. Construction contractors are encouraged to apply to the SHARED SMALL WORKS ROSTER for public works projects up to $200,000 in value. Women and minority-owned businesses are encouraged to apply.
