October 11, 2021 Flood Awareness Week Kicks Off; public preparedness events scheduledOn October 4, the Skagit County Commissioners declared this week (October 11-15, 2021) Flood Awareness Week. Flood Awareness Week offers multiple opportunities for community members to get involved and learn about flood preparedness for themselves and their families! Two free webinars will be held this week:
Additionally, presentations by Puget Sound Energy, Seattle City Light and the National Weather Service will all be made available for public viewing.
