Vendors Must Register To Provide Assistance In The Event Of Emergency

SKAGIT COUNTY – Skagit County government has established an On-Call Emergency Event Vendor List. Vendors who would like to be registered to provide disaster assistance in the event of an emergency are requested to apply.

Depending on the event, it is estimated that this emergency assistance could be required for up to eight weeks or until regular contracting/bidding procedures could be followed.

If your company or firm would like to be included in Skagit County’s On-Call Emergency Event Vendor List, please complete the Emergency Event Vendor registration form and send it to Skagit County Public Works, Emergency Event Vendor List Registration, 1800 Continental Place, Mount Vernon, WA 98273-5628.

For some classes or types of work vendors may be required to sign a contract, provide insurance be properly licensed and bonded to be included on the list. This will assure than a company can begin work immediately upon receiving a call from County staff in event of an emergency. Vendors will be notified of acceptance once the registration is processed. After acceptance of the application a contract will be forwarded for signature.
