Skagit County hosts
informational meeting on flood and drainage issues in Nookachamps, Clear Lake
area
SKAGIT COUNTY – At a regularly scheduled meeting in Clear Lake during
Flood Awareness Week, more than 60 citizens attended with questions regarding
Dike District 12 levee improvements, drainage concerns, and other flood related
issues. As a follow up to that meeting, Skagit County Public Works and the
Department of Emergency Management will hold an informational meeting on Monday,
October 28, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. at the Skagit County Commissioners Hearing Room
at 1800 Continental Place, in an effort to share information on flood and
drainage related issues.
In addition to Skagit County Public Works and Department of Emergency Management,
staff from Planning and Development Services will also be in attendance. Staff
from dike districts and cities have been asked to participate.
