SKAGIT COUNTY FEMA FLOOD MAPPING UPDATE WITH FORMER U.S. SENATOR SLADE GORTON AND BART FREEDMAN AVAILABLE FOR VIEWING ONLINE ON DEMAND

SKAGIT COUNTY - The Community Update regarding the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s plan to update flood maps for the Skagit River valley held last night is available for viewing at www.skagitcounty.net in Skagit County’s new video streaming archive feature. Skagit County has hired the law firm of Kirkpatrick & Lockhart Preston Gates Ellis to represent the County’s interests. Former United States Senator Slade Gorton and Bart Freedman, both attorneys with the K&L Gates firm, spoke about this issue at the Community Update last night.
