NOVEMBER SOUTH FIDALGO SUBAREA PLAN MEETINGS POSTPONED
(Mt. Vernon, WA) Skagit County announced today that two meetings scheduled for November as part of the South Fidalgo Subarea Plan have been postponed. These are a November 8th panel discussion on "Limited Areas of More Intensive Rural Development" (LAMIRDs), and a November 13-14 planning charrette. Both events will be rescheduled after the first of the year.
The County plans to schedule a more general meeting with the community in late November, to follow up on findings from the South Fidalgo Island "Baseline Review" meeting held October 18th at Brodniak Hall in Anacortes. The purpose will be to provide members of the community an opportunity to vocalize their thoughts and concerns as requested on October 18th, and to answer specific questions from the community about the planning process. There will also be summaries and discussion of written comments gathered at the October 18th meeting.
