GUEMES ISLAND FERRY OUT OF SERVICE FOR REPAIRS NOVEMBER 15-16
Passenger only service available on regular sailing schedule, plus SKAT bus service on-call on Guemes during repairs

SKAGIT COUNTY - The Guemes Island Ferry will be out of service November 15-16, 2007 for emergency warrantee work on the #1 outdrive at Dakota Creek Industries in Anacortes. Passenger only service will be provided by Arrow Launch Services on the regular sailing schedule. On November 15th, the car ferry will make the 6:30, 7:00, and 7:30 morning runs before heading to the shipyard at Dakota Creek Industries.

“We’re making every effort to make this haul-out as convenient to our customers as possible,” said Ron Panzero, Guemes Ferry Operations Manager.

SKAT will be providing services at their regular fare of 75 cents, and 35 cents for seniors and people with disabilities on Guemes Island. Riders can schedule pick up by calling the SKAT bus driver directly at 770-0310 or they can call 299-2424.
