Toxic algae blooms have cleared from Fidalgo Island Lakes. Warning notice removed from Pass Lake and Caution lifted from Campbell Lake.

SKAGIT COUNTY - The Health Department reports that Fidalgo Island lakes, including Pass and Campbell lakes, appear clear and free from blue green algae blooms. The Toxic Algae Bloom Warning has been lifted from Pass Lake and the Caution from Campbell Lake based on visually clear water and sample results. The October 29 results show that both Microcystin and Anatoxin-a toxin levels have decreased to be either not detected or extremely low. Cautions were previously lifted from Heart and Erie after water samples repeatedly showed blue green algae toxins to be not detected or well below the level of concern.
