Power Outage in East County; Today’s Meal Service Cancelled at the East County Resource and Community Center

A power outage affecting a large portion of East County, including Concrete and Marblemount, has been reported by Puget Sound Energy this morning. The cause of the outage, which began around 10:00 a.m., is currently under investigation. It is estimated that 2,098 customers are currently without power.

Due to the outage, there will be no meal service provided today at the East County Resource and Community Center in Concrete. Hot meals are typically served at this location Monday through Friday from 11:45 p.m. – 12:45 p.m. The center will be closed to all services for the rest of today.  
The estimated restoration time is 12:30 p.m. this afternoon.
