GIESBRECHT EARNS CERTIFIED MUNICIPAL CLERK DESIGNATION

SKAGIT COUNTY - JoAnne Giesbrecht, Clerk of the Board/Administrative Coordinator of Skagit County, has earned the designation of Certified Municipal Clerk, which is awarded by the International Institute of Municipal Clerks, Inc. “Your County can take great immense pride in JoAnne’s educational accomplishments and achievement of this milestone,” said Elizabeth H. Kiss, president of the organization.

IIMC grants this designation only to those municipal clerks who complete demanding education requirements; and who have a record of significant contributions to their local government, their community and state.

The International Institute of Clerks, founded in 1947, has 10,300 members throughout the United States, Canada and 15 other countries. Their mission is to enhance the education opportunities and professional development of its diverse membership.
