CITIZEN ADVISORY
COMMITTEE MEMBERS SOUGHT FOR MASTER PLANNED RESORT DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS
REVIEW
SKAGIT COUNTY - Skagit County is seeking the assistance of a Citizens
Advisory Committee (CAC) to review, comment on, and suggest alternatives
to proposed Master Planned Resort development regulations. Once adopted,
these regulations will implement the Master Planned Resort policies
of the Skagit County Comprehensive Plan.
Master Planned Resorts are allowed by the Comprehensive Plan, in settings
of significant natural amenities, with a primary focus on destination
resort facilities with short-term visitor accommodations and a range
of developed recreational facilities and visitor services.
Skagit County
seeks and welcomes a diversity of opinions and interests in this matter.
Citizens with knowledge or experience in comprehensive planning, growth
management, tourism and economic development, destination resort development
and management or related areas are encouraged to submit a letter
of interest along with a statement of qualifications by Friday, December
12th, 2003, to:
