AVON ALLEN ROAD WILL BE CLOSED FOR RR CROSSING MAINTENANCE

Avon Allen Road will be closed on November 15, 2006 at 7:30 AM thru November 17, 2006 until approximately 5:00 PM.

The closure will allow the Burlington Northern Santa-Fe Railroad Company to perform maintenance on the crossing.

Skagit County - Skagit County Public Works will be closing Avon Allen Road at SR 20. The closure will be for three days, starting on Wednesday, November 15, 2006 at 7:30 AM and lasting until November 17, 2006 5:00 PM.

The closure is to allow Burlington Northern Santa-Fe Railroad Company to perform maintenance on the railroad crossing on Avon Allen Road. The roadway will be closed to all traffic, including emergency vehicles.

The Detour Route:

SR 20 to Higgins Airport Way to Peterson Road back to Avon Allen Road.
