ZAUG WINS ANNUAL BOB COCKBURN RECOGNITION AWARD

The Skagit County Fairgrounds is pleased to announce Ned Zaugg with WSU Extension Service as the 2nd annual winner of the Bob Cockburn Recognition Award.
This award began in 2005 when long time board member and community member Bob Cockburn was recognized for his volunteer efforts in enhancing the Skagit County
Fairgrounds. This became an annual award to be given each year to an individual or group who enhances the fairgrounds.
Ned Zaugg took the leadership of the education display at the 2005 county fair and made a first class display on the dairy industry here in Skagit County. Under
his leadership a committee was put together of dairy farmers. These people met on a regular basis and built a display that entertained and educated fair goers about the
importance of the dairy industry here in Skagit County.
