County’s 2023 Preliminary Budget Available November 21; Public Welcome to Attend Upcoming Budget Presentation
The Skagit County Board of Commissioners are currently in the process of drafting the county’s 2023 budget. The preliminary budget will be made available to the public on Monday, November 21, and will be accessible on the County’s webpage here: www.skagitcounty.net/Departments/BudgetFinance/2023Budget.htm.
If you would like to learn about what is in the budget, please attend the upcoming Preliminary Budget Presentation on Tuesday, November 22 at 10:30 a.m. in the Commissioners’ Hearing Room at 1800 Continental Place in Mount Vernon. For those who cannot attend in person, a remote option is also available via Zoom using the following link: www.bit.ly/SkagitBoCCMtg.
Following this presentation, the Commissioners will hold a public hearing to consider the budget on Monday, December 5 at 11:00 a.m. Commissioner-led discussion and possible action on the final budget will occur on Monday, December 12 at 11:00 a.m.
