Skagit County Senior Centers Closed Tuesday, November 16 Due to Flooding Due to current severe weather conditions, all Skagit County Senior Centers—except for the Anacortes Senior Center—will be closed on Tuesday, November 16. All Meals on Wheels delivery services will also be cancelled on Tuesday to ensure the safety of Meals on Wheels drivers. No meal service will be provided at the Anacortes center.
Senior Centers and meal delivery will operate as usual on Wednesday, November 17, assuming that there are no major impacts to infrastructure or roadways.

For those who need emergency shelter, the Red Cross is operating shelters at Bethany Covenant Church (1318 S. 18th Street, Mount Vernon, WA 98273) and Hamilton First Baptist Church (797 Hamilton Cemetery Rd, Sedro-Woolley, WA 98284). Please take caution when driving. Do not drive through water on the roadway.
