COVID-19 Updates from Skagit County

Local COVID-19 Case, Hospital & Vaccine Data

Skagit has a total of 12,357 cases; an increase of 394 new cases since last Wednesday; Hospitalizations are at 701 total (increased by 23 since Wednesday), and 126 deaths (increased by 10).  Skagit currently has a case rate of 708.3 per 100k over the last 14 days and a hospitalization rate of 20.7 COVID patients per 100k over the last seven days.

It's still too early to know whether our case rates are declining. What we do know is that our rates--including our hospitalizations rates--are way too high. Now is not the time to get sick. Help our hospitals prioritize those affected by flooding. If sick, limit your exposure to others. Get tested. Get vaccinated.

A total of 193,867 doses have been administered in Skagit County. We are now at 75.5% partially vaccinated amongst our population 12 years and older, and 69.6% fully vaccinated amongst Skagitonians 12 and older.
