        Unified Command will close test site certain  days over holiday season
        Skagit  County Unified Command will close the drive through testing site, located at  the Skagit Fairgrounds South Gate, on the following days throughout the holiday  season: 
           
          Thursday,  November 26* 
          Friday, November 27 *  
          Thursday, December 24  
          Friday, December 25*  
          Thursday, December 31  
          Friday, January 1, 2021* 
           
          Asterisk  (*) indicate County holidays where all county offices will be closed. 
           
          The Skagit  County test site is located at the Skagit Fairgrounds South Gate, 501 Taylor  Street, Mount Vernon, 98273. The regular hours of operation are Monday,  Wednesday and Friday 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and Tuesdays and Thursdays from  12:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. More information about the test site can be found at www.skagitcounty.net/coronavirus. 
           
          If you are  symptomatic or are asymptomatic and have been directed to seek testing by  Public Health and need testing on days the site is closed, you are encouraged  to reach out to your primary care provider or local clinic. If you are  asymptomatic and have not  been directed to seek testing, please do not access testing services at this  time. Residents should be aware that Northwest Laboratory, who conducts the  tests on specimens collected at the test site, is experiencing significantly  increased demands for their services. Due to this increase, residents should expect that results  take at least a week to be returned.
