SKAGIT COUNTY – During the October Skagit River Flood event, the Skagit County Surface Water Management Department recorded a substantial amount of video footage that has been edited and produced into a 15- minute production. The “Skagit River 2003 October Flood” is available for viewing in Skagit County’s Online Media Library, at www.skagitcounty.net. Skagit County uses Windows Streaming Media to deliver programs to your desktop computer. If you have a windows media player, follow the links to view available programming. In addition to the “Skagit River 2003 Flood” video, “Managing the Skagit Risk” is also available, updating the progress of the Skagit River Flood Prevention/Salmon Restoration Feasibility Study, a partnership between the United States Army Corps of Engineers and Skagit County.
