NORTHBOUND LANE REOPENS ON CHUCKANUT DRIVE (SR 11) AFTER CREWS COMPLETE BULLDOZING ROCKS OFF ROADWAY

GEOGRAPHICAL LOCATION:One mile south of the Whatcom County line.Two miles north of the Oyster Creek Inn.
INCIDENT DESCRIPTION:Rockslide.
INCIDENT START TIME: 11:15 a.m.END TIME (OPEN TO TRAFFIC)7:28 p.m.
OTHER INFORMATION: Approximately 40 cubic yards of rock fell onto theroadway.WSDOT crews closed both lanes of Chuckanut Drive at 1:30 p.m.The southbound lane opened earlier this afternoon.
