Commissioners vote for new Guemes Ferry Schedule

SKAGIT COUNTY – The Skagit County Board of Commissioners voted today to change the existing Guemes Island Ferry schedule for 2009. The motion was made by Commissioner Ken Dahlstedt and seconded by Commissioner Don Munks. Commissioner Sharon Dillon voted against the measure.

The new schedule will go into effect on January 1, 2009:

Monday – Thursday 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Friday – Saturday 6:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Sunday - 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
