NEW PROPOSED LAND USE ACTION SIGNS INTRODUCED

SKAGIT COUNTY - In an effort to improve communication with the public on land use changes, the Skagit County Planning & Development Services department is introducing new larger “Proposed Land Use Action” signs that inform neighbors of upcoming land use actions.

The new 24” x 30” signs will be posted on each street frontage on affected property. “These signs will be much more obvious than our old, smaller signs,” said Deputy Director Bill Dowe. “The idea is to do a better job of notifying the public.”

Each sign will list the type of action, property owner, number, and the applicant. The legal notice will also be posted on the sign with contact information for Planning and Development Services. The signs are white and royal blue.
