* All fares include a capital surcharge dedicated to funding vessel replacement. Surcharge effective Aug. 1, 2018, per Skagit County Resolution R20180123.

  1. All tickets, including convenience passes, valid thru Dec. 31, 2025. Non-peak tickets cannot be used during peak season.

  4. Includes youth traveling on school buses and youth with bicycle.
  5. Bicycle free w/passenger convenience pass.
  6. Needs-based pases must be purchased in person at 1800 Continental Place, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., ahead of sailing. Eligibility: Guemes Island residents who qualify for and are activel y enrolled in the County’s Senior Citizens and Disabled Persons Exemption program, as administered by the Skagit County Assessor’s Office, per RCW 84.36.381, providing certain property tax exemptions for qualifying persons.
  7. Extra run typically offered immediately following 11:15 a.m. sailing, if available, as determined by Ferry Division Manager or designee. 2025 extra run rate is $582.70. Advanced reservations required, service not guaranteed. For advanced reservations, call ferry terminal main office (360) 293-6433 or email pw@co.skagit.wa.us.   8. Rate covers one trip to Anacortes and one return trip from Guemes Island. 2025 HazMat rate is $786.64. Fare may be split by multiple companies onboard and applies regardless of how many trucks are traveling.
  9. Private Charter rate for 2025 is $2,560.84. After-hours ferry service limited to 3-hour maximium and dependent on availability of vessel and crew; service not guaranteed. Advance reservations recommended.
  10. Emergency services dispatched by 911, Sheriff, Fire, or Utilities outside published schedule, subject to availability. See Skagit County Resolution R20250015 for full cost breakdown.

The Guemes Island Ferry departs from the Skagit County Anacortes ferry terminal at 500 I Ave, Anacortes, WA 98221. The ferry arrives at departs from Guemes approximately 8 minutes after the listed times below.

■ Wednesday 9:15 a.m. to Guemes & 2 p.m. from Guemes are hazardous material runs ONLY. No other passengers/vehicles allowed. 2025 HazMat rate is $786.64. Rate covers one trip to Guemes Island & one return trip from Guemes Island. Fare may be split by multiple companies onboard & applies regardless of how many trucks are traveling.

Ferry will run on a SATURDAY NONPEAK schedule ending at 10 p.m. when New Years Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving or Christmas fall on a Sunday through Thursday.

The Guemes Island Ferry takes on fuel every other Tuesday between 11:45 a.m. and 12:45 p.m. On fuel days, there will be no second or double 11:15 a.m. sailing. Ferry maintenance may be conducted on other days between 11:45 a.m. and 12:45 p.m.
