Traditional paper renewal reminders for boats have been replaced by email renewal reminders with a direct link to DOL's online renewal system. You will not receive a paper reminder from DOL. If you renew your vessel registration in person at the County Auditor's Office or any of the sub-agencies in Skagit County, it is important to bring the registration number from the bow of your boat or the HIN (Hull Identification Number) from your registration.

There are two ways to renew your vessel registration:

  1. Renew online at the DOL website
    OR
  2. Renew at the County Auditor's Office or any licensing sub-agency with the following information:

    *Your Registration Number (WN);
    OR
    *Your Hull Identification Number (HIN).
