If you have symptoms or have been in close contact with someone with confirmed COVID-19, there should be no cost to you for testing, whether you have insurance or not. Check with the provider prior to testing for information about costs if you have not been exposed, are asymptomatic, or are needing testing for travel.

Many doctor's offices are offering COVID-19 testing to their patients. Contact your healthcare provider first to see if they offer COVID-19 testing. If you are experiencing severe symptoms such as shortness of breath or chest tightness, consider going to an emergency department nearby.

Note: When visiting a testing location, always plan to bring with you a copy of your identification (driver's license, passport, etc.), as well as medical insurance information (if insured).
