The Clean Water Program works to identify and eliminate sources of non-point pollution to enhance Skagit County’s water quality. It works to educate the public, control stormwater pollution, and monitor water quality. |

The Skagit County Monitoring Program (SCMP) determines status and trends of water quality in streams across the county through ambient monitoring efforts. |

The Pollution Identification and Correction (PIC) program works to reduce fecal pollution in surface waters, especially those flowing to Samish Bay and Padilla Bay. |
The Stormwater Management program works to fulfill National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System Permit (NPDES) requirements to reduce the amount of pollution transported into our water resources by runoff. |
The Source Control Program is a collaborative effort to work with business owners to prevent pollution to stormwater. |
