Clean Water Program

The Clean Water Program works to identify and eliminate sources of non-point pollution to enhance Skagit County’s water quality. It works to educate the public, control stormwater pollution, and monitor water quality.

Skagit County Monitoring Program

The Skagit County Monitoring Program (SCMP) determines status and trends of water quality in streams across the county through ambient monitoring efforts.

Pollution Identification and Correction Program

The Pollution Identification and Correction (PIC) program works to reduce fecal pollution in surface waters, especially those flowing to Samish Bay and Padilla Bay.

Stormwater Management Program

The Stormwater Management program works to fulfill National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System Permit (NPDES) requirements to reduce the amount of pollution transported into our water resources by runoff.

Source Control Program

The Source Control Program is a collaborative effort to work with business owners to prevent pollution to stormwater.
