Pay in Person or by Mail

There are two locations that can take property tax payments in person:

There are two payment drop boxes located at 700 S. 2nd Street in Mount Vernon, WA for property tax payments (check or money order only):

• the west end of the horseshoe parking lot
• 2nd floor in the Administration Building outside of the Treasurer’s office (Room 205)

If paying by mail, please postmark by the due date to avoid any interest or penalties (RCW 84.56.020). Payment in the form of check or money order can be mailed to:
