Content Description

Content Summary: This dataset represents structures that control the flow of water on watercourses within Skagit County.These structures were identified through consultation with drainage and dike commissioners as well as on the ground field verification. Most of the structures are part of drainage infrastructure and do not include obstructions such as dams or culverts.

Content Purpose: To locate drainage structures for the use in Capital Facilities inventory and Critical Areas Ordinance work. For more details on the projects this dataset was created for please contact the Skagit County Planning department.
