PITS AND QUARRIES
The Equipment Division maintains the inventory of all of the mined stockpiles
in all of the Pits & Quarries owned by Skagit County. With the inventory
control system, the Equipment Division tracks the materials requested
and used by other County departments. The Equipment Division works closely
with the Surface Water Division to obtain and maintain all of the necessary
permits. (Example: State of Washington Mining Permit)
