What are Congregate or Community Meals?

Senior Congregate or Community Meals offer older adults the opportunity to connect with each other while enjoying a delicious, nutritionally balanced meal.

Where is this service provided?

Senior Congregate or Community Meals offer older adults the opportunity to connect with each other while enjoying a delicious, nutritionally balanced meal.

We serve meals at our five Senior Center locations throughout the county:

Senior Community Meals are provided on a donation only basis for adults age 60 and over, as well as their spouses and caregivers.

Volunteer Support

A large and very dedicated troupe of volunteers spends time weekdays helping in our senior Center kitchens and delivering meals. Daily contact with volunteers is so important to isolated seniors, because, for many, it is their only regular personal contact. This service helps seniors continue to live independently in their own homes.

New volunteers are always needed. For more information on how you can volunteer, call (360) 416-1500.
