SEASONAL WINTER SHELTERS
Seasonal Winter Shelters ARE NOW OPEN until April 2025
Adults with children seeking shelter:
- OPEN 11/25/2024
- Phone intake required. Contact Family Promise of Skagit Valley:
- 9am to 4pm: 360-854-0743
- 4pm to 9am: 360-764-1486
Adults seeking shelter:
- OPEN 12/02/2024
- Daily check-in at 3pm required at the Welcome Home Skagit Resource Center located at Salem Lutheran Church (2529 N. Laventure Road, Mount Vernon)
- Space is limited. Beds are available on a first come, first served basis.
Extreme Weather Shelters will be activated during periods of extreme cold weather
- OPEN 12/11/24 and reopen again on 12/14/24 and 12/15/24: Community Center in Concrete (45821 Railroad Ave., Concrete) operated by Community Action of Skagit County. Shelter opens at 8:00 PM and guests should arrive before 10 pm.

- Salvation Army Anacortes is providing motel vouchers for those experiencing homelessness in Anacortes. Call 360-488-2376 to make an appointment.
