FACILITY RENTALS

We have what you're looking for!

We host a Variety of Rental Events Every Year, utilizing our one of a kind facility...

Two buildings for the price of one!
Buildings A & B are rented together as “one” building.

Building A

2100 sq ft; Capacity – standing 250, seated 120; 7’x 7’ freight door; 30’x 70’ hall.  Can accommodate thirteen 10’ x 10’ vendor spaces. Heat is available. Double kitchens!

Building B

2880 sq ft; Capacity – standing 400, seated 190. Adjoins Building A; 8’x 7’ freight door; 36’ x 80’ hall. Can accommodate eleven 10’ x 10’ vendor spaces.

Building C

Houses the 4-H Dogs at the Fair
Building C: 4800 sq ft; Capacity – standing 685, seated 320. 12’ x 10’ freight door; 60’ x 80’ hall. Can accommodate twenty-eight 10’ x 10’ vendor spaces.

Building D

Houses a variety of open class exhibits (flowers, photos, canning, grange, trains & more) at the Fair
Building D: 8400 sq ft; Capacity - standing 1,200, seats 560.

Building F

Houses the Sheep During the Fair, and is utilized for many other events including the Master Gardener Plant Fair.  
Building F: 5400 sq ft; Capacity – standing 770, seats 360.

Building G

Houses the Pigs During the Fair             
Building G: 2700 sq ft; Capacity- Standing  390, seated  170. 8’ x 7’ freight door; 30’ x 90’ hall.  Can accommodate seventeen 10’ x 10’ vendor spaces.

Pavilion

The signature barn at the Fairgrounds.
6000 sq ft. Capacity – 600 seated in grandstands. Actual floor space in main Pavilion area (without grandstand area) is 39’ x 98’ = 3822 sq ft.

Stage Area

Great area for mellow afternoon concerts, large group picnics, etc! Bathrooms are adjacent to stage. Please note: You must rent the parking area as well as restrooms with this package. Due to the Fairgrounds close proximity to a residential neighborhood, very loud amplified music or night time concerts are not typically a great fit at the Fairgrounds.

Restrooms

ADA restrooms: Spacious with 1 shower on each side men & women. Men’s side includes 1 urinal and 1 spacious stall, women’s side includes 2 spacious stalls. ADA compliant.

South Lot

Used as the parking area for large-scale events, also great for large group campouts, dog shows, drive in movies and more!
6 acres, 501 Taylor Street entrance.

General Guidelines and Information

We do not accept single day, individual building rentals, except for (larger) business meetings/trainings in our A/B Building (rates start at $475/day).  

Our Facility is great for larger events with our ability to rent out multiple/all buildings/areas to large groups being from April-Early October.

In the offseason we typically only have vacancy in our A/B Building in the months of October and January-March, other buildings are mostly already under long-term lease for the duration of the offseason and the Skagit Valley Herald Christmas Fund occupies the A/B Building in the months of November and December.

We do have a packet of set rates available upon request. We’ve found that in the past, when we published this, potential renters have a tendency to try and calculate what their event will cost before talking to us, and there are just a lot of factors to that. How much parking space is needed? How much staff time is needed? Do you need tables and chairs? What is the attendance and will the areas you think you need be sufficient?  We’d be happy to work through all these details and work up a quote for you.

If you are looking for a small one day private party event (birthday party, etc.) please check with Burlington Parks and Recreation or Mount Vernon Parks and Recreation , there are plenty of facilities in the county that specialize in hosting smaller private 1 day events.
