to the Skagit County Recycling & Transfer Station.

Where is the Transfer Station?
The address is 14104 Ovenell Road, Mount Vernon. The Transfer
Station is north of Highway 20. From Highway 20, go north on Farm
to Market Road and right (east) on Ovenell Road. The Recycling
& Transfer Station is on your immediate right.

Where can I take my yard waste?
If you live in Anacortes,
Burlington, Mount Vernon, or Sedro-Woolley, phone city hall for information.
If you live in an unincorporated area, you can visit the

Waste web page for information about private enterprise
sites.

you want information on composting your yard waste yourself so
you can use it to improve your soil, go to the compost

cleaning out my garage. How can I safely get rid of old paint, used
motor oil, and antifreeze.
Visit the Recycling information page. Used motor oil and antifreeze can also be taken to Clear
Lake Recycling & Compactor Site or the Sauk Transfer Site.
7. Where
do I take construction materials and debris for disposal or recycling?
Go to the
Construction/Demolition web page for the names of companies that
take construction
materials. You can also take your construction debris to the
Skagit County Recycling & Transfer Station on Ovenell Road.
Lumber must be less than 6 feet long or 4 feet.
