The Narratives/Forms below need to be completed and uploaded as part of your submittal requirements.

These apply to both Administrative and Hearing Examiner processes.

Most commercial projects must attend a Pre-development Meeting with County Staff. If a Pre-development Meeting has not been held, please schedule a meeting though the County’s CSS Portal. If you are unsure if a pre-development meeting is required, Ask a Permit Technician

Agricultural Siting Criteria Variance  
Appeal Pre-development Meeting not required.
Bed and Breakfast  
Critical Area Buffer Reduction Variance Pre-development Meeting not required.
Home Based Business SEPA required with submittal.
JARPA Required for Shoreline Applications.
Kennel Day use kennel, limited kennel or overnight boarding kennel. SEPA required with submittal.
Marijuana Facility Retail, Processing and Production. SEPA required with submittal.
Mineral Extraction and Processing SEPA required with submittal.
Outdoor Outfitters SEPA required with submittal.
Rural Business Business expansion or change of use. SEPA required with submittal.
SEPA Checklist Required for most Special Use Applications.
Shoreline Substantial Development, Conditional Use or Variance. SEPA and JARPA required with submittal.
Special Use For administrative or hearing examiner applications not specifically listed.
Temporary Dwellings  
Temporary Events SEPA required with submittal.
Water System Connection Approval For public Group A systems or community Group B systems
Wireless Facility Wireless Facility Determination Eligibility. SEPA required with submittal for a new facility application.
Zoning Requirements Variance Setbacks, parking, landscape and reduction to short plat densities
