Geologically Hazardous Areas
Geologically hazardous areas (“geohazards”) are areas that may not be suited to development because of their susceptibility to erosion, sliding, earthquake, or other geological events. Skagit County’s critical areas code, specifically SCC 14.24.400-430, governs development in and near geohazard areas.Resources
