Lakes and Rivers
1) Big Lake- Located west of Hwy 9 approximately 5 miles east of Mount Vernon.Big Lake is 545 acres and is a popular for boating, skiing and fishing.The speed limit is set at 40 mph and all state boating regulations apply.
2) Campbell Lake- Located on Campbell Lake Rd, just west of Hwy 20 and approximately 1 mile south of Anacortes. Campbell Lake is 410 acres and is popular for boating, skiing and fishing. The speed limit is set at 40 mph and all state boating regulations apply.
3) Lake McMurray- Located east of Hwy 9 approximately 8 miles south of Mount Vernon. Lake McMurray is 160 acres and is a popular fishing destination. The speed limit is set at 5 mph.

4) Lake Sixteen- Located just off Hwy 534 approximately 6 miles south of Mount Vernon. Lake Sixteen is 41 acres and is restricted to a 5 mph speed limit and no combustible fuel motors are allowed

5) Clear Lake- Located on Hwy 9 near the community of Clear Lake, approximately 4 miles south of Sedro Woolley. The speed limit is set at 25 mph and no personal watercraft are allowed.
6) Lake Erie- Located just south of the Anacortes city limits off Heart Lake Rd. Lake Erie is approximately 240 acres and a popular fishing lake. The speed limit is set at 40 mph.
7) Lake Cavanaugh- Located on Lake Cavanaugh Rd, off Hwy 9, approximately 20 miles east of Mount Vernon. Lake Cavanaugh is an 844 acre, deep water lake. It is suitable for boating, skiing and fishing. The speed limit is 40 mph.
8) Swinomish Slough- Located west of Anacortes, this waterway separates Fidalgo Islands esst side from the mainland. The Slough runs approximately 7 miles from Padilla Bay to Skagit Bay and is a popular waterway that accesses LaConner, Shelter Bay and several marinas.
9) Skagit River- With 93 miles of navigable water, the Skagit River runs west through Skagit County before emptying into Skagit Bay. The river is a popular spot for fishing, boating and rafting.
